The Saturn Partner Founder, Carole Crawford, grew up on the “Space Coast” of Florida as a child in the 1960s and 1970s.

Carole, an MBA graduate from Roosevelt University, has a rich background in marketing management and computer systems. Before founding The Saturn Partners, Inc. (SPI) in 2001, she held significant roles in the corporate sector during the 1990s, including Midwest Director at Maximizer/Multiactive Software and at Network Two and Splitrock in the U.S. Her experience in these positions, particularly in network services, sparked her interest in the Internet’s potential and its security challenges.
Recognizing a need for enhanced network security, especially for smaller institutions, Carole established SPI to provide custom security policies and services, including Internal Vulnerability Assessments, Penetration Testing, and Disaster Recovery Planning. These services initially targeted hospitals and banks, addressing the growing demand for digital environment security.
Under Carole’s leadership, SPI has expanded from its Midwestern roots to the Southeast, with plans to venture into Logistics/Warehousing/Cargo security in 2024. Beyond her entrepreneurial endeavors, Carole is a sought-after speaker on cybersecurity, an author of whitepapers, and is planning a new book alongside managing SPI’s newsletter and website revamp.
Away from her professional life, Carole enjoys a personal connection to Lake Michigan, residing near the Wisconsin-Illinois border. Married to Patrick since 2000, she balances her time between raising her Papillon puppy Simone and indulging in her passions for jazz music, history, running, and cooking. As a vocalist, she performs with the 1940s big band ‘Swing House’ and her Art Deco jazz combo, ‘The Scat Cats’.
